Cable Car, Buffet & Snorkelling Phu Quoc: three stops, one day

Hòn Thơm cable car snorkelling Phu Quoc — this full-day tour brings together three distinct stops: the cable car crossing, a buffet lunch at the Mango restaurant, and a snorkel session at the An Thới coral park. It covers the same cable car experience as other Hòn Thơm tours, then uses the time saved by skipping the water park to give you a proper reef visit instead. Itinerary

08:00 — Pick-up from Luna Oriental or your accommodation. Transfer to An Thới pier in the south of Phú Quốc.

09:00 — Board the cable car at the An Thới terminal. The Hòn Thơm cable car crossing covers roughly 8 km over open water and takes about 20 minutes each way. The views across the An Thới archipelago are the main draw — you are crossing above the sea, above the small islands, with the horizon in every direction.

10:00 — Arrive on Hòn Thơm island. First stop: Cầu Hôn (Kiss Bridge), the wooden arch bridge on the island that most people photograph. Good light in the morning before the crowds build up.

11:30 — Buffet lunch at Mango restaurant on Hòn Thơm. Around 70 dishes: seafood, grilled items, salads, rice, noodles, and desserts. Soft drinks included; alcoholic drinks are not.

13:30 — Return cable car crossing back to An Thới, then board a boat for the coral snorkel stop. The reef site is inside the An Thới archipelago — the same system used by the 3-island snorkel tours. Snorkel equipment (mask, fins, vest) is provided.

15:30 — Snorkel session ends. Return to pier.

17:00 – 19:00 — Transfer back to your hotel. Return time varies slightly with traffic and group size.

Good to know

What to bring: swimwear under your clothes, a change of dry clothes, reef-safe sunscreen (or a rash guard), sandals that can get wet, and a small amount of cash for drinks or personal purchases on the island.

Snorkel ability: basic swimming is sufficient. The snorkel site is sheltered within the archipelago, so conditions are generally calm. Guests who prefer not to snorkel can stay on the boat.

Children: the cable car and buffet are fine for all ages. For young children in the water, let the guide know in advance so appropriate gear is ready.

Time in the water: roughly 1.5–2 hours at the reef, depending on conditions and group pace.

Weather: tours run year-round. Between June and September, some days may have choppier seas. The guide will advise on the morning if conditions are not suitable.
