VinWonders Phu Quoc + Grand World: what the full day looks like

VinWonders Phu Quoc is the island’s largest theme park, and pairing it with Grand World in the evening turns it into a genuinely full day — 14.5 hours from pickup to drop-off. This is the longest tour on offer, designed for visitors who want to cover the north island’s big-ticket attractions in one go. Families with children will find the most to do here, but first-time visitors to Phú Quốc often use this day as an orientation to the island’s entertainment side. Lunch and dinner are both included, so the logistics are straightforward.

Itinerary

08:00 — Pickup from Luna Oriental. The drive north to VinWonders takes about 40 minutes depending on traffic.

09:00 — Arrive at VinWonders. The park is large — allow at least 30 minutes just to orient yourself. The main zones include roller coasters and thrill rides, a sea turtle aquarium with feeding shows, a bear conservation area, water rides, and several performance stages with scheduled animal shows throughout the day.

12:30 — Lunch inside the park. The guide will direct you to the designated dining area, which typically offers a Vietnamese buffet or a set meal. This is a good moment to rest — the afternoon sun inside the park can be intense.

13:30 to 17:00 — Continue at your own pace. Most groups focus on any rides missed in the morning or revisit the aquarium. The bear area is worth a second pass if the morning feeding is finished.

17:00 — Rest and freshen up before the evening portion.

18:30 — Transfer to Grand World, which is adjacent to the VinWonders complex. The space opens fully at night: Venice-style canals with gondola rides, lit-up shopping streets, live music stages, and a dense cluster of restaurants and street food stalls.

Dinner — At Grand World, typically at one of the Vietnamese restaurants in the complex. Bún Quậy Kiến Xây is a local noodle dish worth trying if it is on the evening menu.

21:00 — The Sắc Màu Venice water show runs along the main canal. It combines projection mapping, water fountains, and music. Worth positioning early for a good vantage point along the walkway.

22:30 — Return transfer to Luna Oriental.

Good to know

Wear comfortable walking shoes — the combined footprint of VinWonders and Grand World is large, and you will log significant steps by the end of the day. Sunscreen is essential for the morning and early afternoon at VinWonders, which is largely outdoors.

Weekends and Vietnamese public holidays bring noticeably larger crowds, which means longer queues at popular rides. If you have flexibility, a weekday visit is more comfortable.

The park is built with children in mind, but there are height and age restrictions on some thrill rides. Ask the guide at the start of the day which attractions are available for younger children.

The sea turtle aquarium has scheduled feeding sessions — check the posted timetable when you arrive to catch one.
